What we can Recycle
Please only place the items listed here in your recycling bin. They should be clean, dry and loose. Also, we do not accept plastic bags.
The following types of material will be accepted for recycling from 17th September 2007.
Plastics
Is it plastic - is it bottle shaped? Then if it is was used for one of the below items we will take it:
- Milk
- Bleach
- Soft Drinks
- Shampoo
- Washing Up Liquid
- Cleaning Materials
We cannot accept any other types of plastic.
Mixed Glass
We will accept bottles and jars that have been used for items such as:
- Coffee
- Jam
- Wine
- Beer
Cans
- Food and drink cans
- Aerosols
- Pet food cans
Mixed Paper
- Newspapers
- Magazines
- Cardboard
- Junk Mail
- Telephone Directories
- Brochures
- Office Paper
- Envelopes
- Gift Wrapping
- Greetings Cards
Tetra Paks (NEW)
- Liquid food Cartons
- Fruit Juice Cartons
- Longlife Milk Cartons
