Adur & Worthing Council Services works hard to listen to the comments you make about our website. Based on recent feedback we have provided a dedicated page on Household Waste Recycling Sites (also known as Amenity Sites and Tips) in Adur and Worthing. This should assist you when you need to dispose of bulkier goods than we take on weekly refuse collections.
We are also working to improve the collection day checker tool. At the moment we have noted that on bank holidays, it still advises that some streets have a collection. Whilst the day is correct, we do not collect on bank holidays. As such we will make the necessary changes to make it even easier to use and when a bank holiday falls on your collection day, we will make it clear that your recycling, refuse and garden waste isn't collected.
