Clinical waste
A free clinical waste collection service is available for items such as needles, stoma bags, incontinence pads, etc. These items must not be put in your normal household waste or taken to civic amenity sites. Please Contact Us for more information.
Domestic Households
Adur & Worthing Council Services offer a free weekly clinical waste collection for domestic properties. We can collect:
- Sharps
- Bandages
- Incontinence Pads
- No Nappies
Clinical Waste is collected weekly on a set day and we can provide you a sharps box or bag as required which we will replace each week when we collect your clinical waste.

Non-domestic Properties
For non-domestic properties we can arrange a clinical waste collection at a competitive rate suitable for nursing homes, playgroups and residential homes for example. We can also collect nappies for playgroups unlike the domestic service.
