Recycling and disposal of old computers
Computers should NOT be placed in your wheeled bin under any circumstances since they contain may hazardous substances that may cause pollution if sent to landfill sites. Please take your old computer to the dedicated areas at the Brighton Road, Shoreham or Willowbrook Road, Worthing. All computer equipment disposed of in this way is fully recycled. Please ensure you use the correct disposal point and DO NOT place with general waste. If in doubt please ask site staff.
A word of warning
Note : Always remember to thoroughly and completely delete files and information off of the computer that you wouldn't want other people to have access to before you dispose of a computer (eg correspondence, e-mails, word processing, bank and personal details, photos, usernames and passwords, etc).
