Textile banks

Salvation Army logoAdur has ten Salvation Army textile banks situated around the district, which can take clean, unwanted clothing including shoes, underwear and sheet bedding (sorry no duvets or pillows).

Please bag up items before placing in the textile bank.

Lancing / Sompting :

  • Co-op rear of car park, South Street
  • Lancing Beach Green car park, Brighton Road
  • Recreation Ground, Grafton Drive
  • Lancing Manor Leisure Centre

Shoreham :

  • Holmbush Centre, alongside petrol station
  • Buckingham Park, outside east entrance, Old Shoreham Road
  • Riverside Road car park, Shoreham Beach
  • Eastern Avenue allotments, east entrance

Southwick :

Recycle your old toner/print cartridges, mobile phones, foreign currency, stamps, clothes and other general items

Check your favourite charity to find out if they collect these items.  Many charities collect mobile phones, print cartridges, stamps etc for fundraising.

Don’t add even more to the landfill mountains!
